Prayer for matric exams

The MEC extended invitations to Pastors and congregants to be part of these prayer sessions.

NELSPRUIT – The Mpumalanga Department of Education in collaboration with the Moral Regeneration Movement will schedule prayer meetings in all its four Districts to pray for the forthcoming matric exams.

According to the department’s spokesman, Mr Jasper Zwane, this is keeping with the call made by the MEC of this department, Ms Reginah Mhaule at the occasion of the presentation of the state of readiness for the examination held in White River October 3.

“We also take this opportunity to request all religious formations to pray for the success of the learners and the department and the Provincial Moral Regeneration Movement to lead from the front in this regard,” said Mhaule.

The prayer sessions are scheduled as follows: October 15, Ehlanzeni District in Nkomazi local municipality under the Lubombo Circuit at Mshengu Primary School, then on October 15 in Bohlabela District, Bushbuckridge Municipality at Marite Community Hall and at Tladishi Secondary School the next day.

“Our collective view is that this will add impetus in improving the levels of readiness, confidence amongst learners because they will appreciate the fact that they are supported by all,” Mhaule further said.

She then extended invitations to Pastors and congregants to be part of these prayer sessions.
