Bila and Daniye primary make history
Winning the national honour of the U/12 and 13 soccer competition was the biggest achievement of his career as a young coach.
Young soccer star, Thabo Bila, has become an overnight celebrity amid being nominated at one of the biggest sports awards in the country.
The young lad from Daniye primary school in Bushbuckridge was quoted as saying that winning the national honour of the U/12 and 13 soccer competition was the biggest achievement of his career as a young coach.
“It is an open secret that it was even participated dream whose club has participated in today’s final to win the title and been nominated for sports award for 2013 and I am so excited that it happened to be me at the end of the day,” Bila added.
The awards will be held in North West at Sun City on November 17.
Daniye represented the country during Danone’s nations cup where they were knocked out on 29th position during the group stages.
“This is a great thing to have happened to me and my team, firstly we have never been anywhere further than Gauteng,” He said.
Bila, who failed his matric indicated that his calling is coaching because his attempt to get educated has proved fruitless and hence he decided to follow his dreams as coach.
