Local Samaritan does his bit for the youth

Mnisi has made it his passion to identify needy learners from local schools and find a way to help them.

MSOGWABA – Not only is he passionate about helping young children develop their interest in sport, but Mr Sam Mnisi of Msogwaba Sports is also concerned about their physical and social well-being too.

Mnisi has made it his passion to identify needy learners from local schools and find a way to help them.

Recently he made a difference in young Noxolo Shube’s life by getting sponsors to donate a uniform, clothes and toiletries. After discovering that Noxolo was living with her grandmother, who supports her with her social grant after Noxolo’s mother’s death, Mnisi approached Osizweni Pharmacy for help.

It did not hesitate and jumped on board to assist this learner of Sindzawonye Primary.

In conjunction with library assistant, Ms Thuli Mahlalela, Mnisi motivated the pupil to visit the local library and study hard in order to obtain a brighter future.

“I’m grateful for this gesture and I promise my sponsors that I will remain in school and do my best to become a better person,” said Noxolo. Mnisi added he would help any learner of the community who needed assistance.
