Tuks FC ready to pocket points

Tuks FC who have already declared this stadium their second home venue, are once again hoping for a full house and will certainly hope to pocket all three points against the inconsistent Pirates.

Following an impressive sold-out Mbombela Stadium during their league clash against PSL champs, Kaizer Chiefs last year, the Pretoria giants, Tuks FC (University of Pretoria) are coming back to town and this time around they are hosting the other PSL giants, Orlando Pirates.

The two Gauteng-based giants meet for the first time in this stadium on Saturday at 15:30. Tuks FC who have already declared this stadium their second home venue, are once again hoping for a full house and will certainly hope to pocket all three points against the inconsistent Pirates.

“We are definitely eyeing another victory after a splendid run against Golden Arrows over the past weekend. The team enjoy playing at Mbombela and I am sure the boys would want to retain their winning record there.

“The last time we played here, we had such a positive response from local soccer supporters and we hope to attract yet more people this time around.”

Although Pirates haven’t been playing the good football they are known for, they are not to be taken lightly, as they proved this past weekend when they trumped Free State Stars 2-0.

It’s no secret, the departure of Andile Jali has left a huge void in the Buccaneers’ crew.

Pirates spokesman, Mickey Modisane promised a good game and that his team would continue where they left off the past weekend against Free State Stars.
