Chairperson states that ANC will still rule

According to Moela, some people were bribing the young with alcohol to start protests in various communities so that Mabuza would be seen unfit to lead this province again.

BARBERTON – “Numsa can go to hell, we don’t care about them. Cosatu will remain a strong working class union without them. The ruling party will continue and work with Cosatu. Numsa is like Julius Malema and Helen Zille and I also want to state this clearly that the ANC will continue to rule. All those people who are trying to destroy the image of our leaders, must go to hell. They are wasting their time and energy.”

These were the utterances of the provincial chairperson of the Ancyl, Mr Desmond Moela during his keynote address at a youth gathering in the local community hall. Yellow-cladded members of various branches came in numbers to hear the manifesto of the ruling party.

Moela said that as young people, they were ready to defend their leaders. “As the youth, our mandate is to address issues that are affecting young people of this country such as unemployment, which is the biggest challenge we face. But we are not going to fold our arms when there are people who want to destroy our president, Jacob Zuma and our premier David Mabuza. We have learnt that there are political parties who want Zuma to step down due to the Nkandla report that has been released by Public Protector, Thuli Mandonsela. They are daydreaming, that’s not going to happen. We voted for Zuma in Magaung and we say that Mabuza will return for his second term and lead Mpumalanga,” he said.

According to Moela, some people were bribing the young with alcohol to start protests in various communities so that Mabuza would be seen unfit to lead this province again.

“There are people who already see themselves as the next premier. We have raised three candidates for the premier’s position, which is David Mabuza, Dabede Mabuza and DD Mabuza.

Those who think they will become premier by bribing the youth with alcohol so that they can cause chaos in this province, are not going to succeed,” he concluded.
