Illegal initiation school claims six year old’s life

A six-year-old boy lost his life and three were admitted at Themba Hospital after experiencing complications at an illegal initiation school.

MANYEVENI – Recently the provincial chairperson of the House of Traditional Leaders, Kgoshi Lameck Mokoena sent a stern warning to people who were running illegal initiation schools.

He was previously quoted by Mpumalanga News as saying, “Ingoma is not an ATM, it’s a culture that need to be respected.”

The paper learnt that his warnings had fallen on deaf ears as a six-year-old boy lost his life and three were admitted at Themba Hospital. This was after some complications were experienced at an illegal initiation school.
