Premier to open the House of Traditional Leaders

"We can’t run away from reality, people are still struggling to get access to clean water and the roads are very bad “.

MBOMBELA – Traditional leaders from different corners of the province are expected to come in numbers to the provincial legislature on Friday where premier David Mabuza would be officially opening the provincial house of traditional leaders.

The leaders are looking forward to Mabuza’s speech as they are expecting him to elaborate further on issues of development in areas that are still under Amakhosi.

The provincial chairperson of the house, Kgoshi Lameck Mokoena was previously quoted by Mpumalanga News saying:

“We are looking forward to the opening of the house on March 13. There we want to hear him talking about new developments that will assist in developing in areas that are still under Amakahosi. We can’t run away from reality, people are still struggling to get access to clean water and the roads are very bad.“

He said every time when government speaks about development, it’s happening in urban areas.
