KABOKWENI- The community of Kabokweni have been left stunned after a 45-year-old woman burnt herself to death.
According to local police spokesperson Capt Shirley Ngomane the incident happened around 14:00 on Tuesday.
“Apparently her older sister left her alone and went to a nearby clinic and was surprised when she found the house empty. She then went to investigate and made the gruesome discovery at the place where they store firewood.
She found the remains of her sister burning in fire. At this point it is unknown what really happened,” said Ngomane.
“An iquest has been opened and police investigation in the matter continues,” she added.
