MBONISWENI – Some residents of this area are calling upon the Mbombela Local Municipality (MLM) to monitor the system of supplying water with water trucks as it’s alleged that they are not doing justice.
According to the community members, they are forced to spend a week without water because the trucks are no longer reliable.
One of the community members, Ms Bawinile Shakwane said:
“Things are no longer going smoothly. Usually they used to supply water twice a week, but this time around, they take two week to supply water and we don’t know why.
We are forced to get water from the wells .
The question is: for long are we going to suffer? We can’t live without water, it’s a source of life”.
Our aefforts to get hold of the spokesperson of MLM Mr Joseph Ngala, was fruitless .
