MBOMBELA – Members of the legislature will this afternoon ask oral questions to MECs from different departments on a number of issues affecting the province.
Mpumalanga News learnt that some of the issues to be raised will be directed to the department of education on the state attorneys and the councils opinion regarding Cefups Academy following the death of a grade 12 learner who allegedly died after being sjamboked from the school .
DA’s Jane Sithole is expected to ask the MEC of education Reginah Mhaule if there will be any disciplinary measures taken against the department’s head for her failure to comply with certain regulations and the department is expected to give a full account to the legislature on this.
