Karabo is now closer to the finish line
Mpumalanga's golden boy, Karabo Mogane has made it into the top five of Idols SA and Mpumalanga is working together to help him bag this year's title.

MBOMBELA – He kept half of it local this week when he gave a beautiful rendition of Ringo Madlingozi’s “Ekuseni”, and coupled it with Alicia Keys’ “Fallin'”.
One would conclude that Karabo is now flawless in the competition.
“We are grateful for the support Karabo has been receiving throughout the competition. He would not have made it if it wasn’t for the dedicated voters.
“We can surely help him win the title,” said Lehlogonolo Mogane, Karabo’s brother. Lehlogonolo went on to express his appreciation to the Department of Culture, Sport and Recreation, and Mbombela Local Municipality for their support towards the campaign.
“The department sponsored 1 000 T-shirts, while the municipality gave 500. Words cannot convey how thankful we are. Team Karabo will give away the T-shirts and paint the town red throughout the week.
We are starting at the reopening of Pick n Pay next to SARS on Thursday and then proceed to Thulamahashe at A1 Fisheries on Friday. Saturday will see us at Bushbuckridge, opposite the Shell garage.
We encourage people to come through and help us drive this wonderful campaign,” he added.
Now that he is in the top five, Karabo will be given time to come home and touch base with his fans down here, and the homecoming will be an awesome one.
“It should be sometime between this week and the weekend, we are not sure yet. But he will be coming home and we are going to host a great homecoming party for him. The people are invited to come and interact with him. All details will be communicated via social media,” concluded Lehlogonolo.
