Premier meets with protestors

During this meeting with the community, Mabuza promised to build a Primary School and a Youth Centre in the area.

PIENAAR – Following a two weeks-long protest in this area and surrounding areas such as Kabokweni, Kanyamazane and Tekwane South, the Premier of the province, Mr David Mabuza met with the community leaders and front runners of the protests, where a number of issues were discussed.
Mabuza discussed the grievances that were raised during the protests. He appealed to community members to refrain from damaging and destroying state owned properties as it has been the case in the past.

During this meeting with the community, Mabuza promised to build a Primary School and a Youth Centre in the area, which will play a vital role in providing the young people with much needed skills to better their lives.
