Zion Churches spreads love to disabled children

Ubunye bemabandla, which constitutes of all Zion churches in Matsulu recently showed their loved to children living with disabilities in the area.

MATSULU – Children living with disabilities are equally important and deserve to be cared for, respected and loved by their families and society as a whole.

This was said by Ms Njabulo Nyathikazi, a social worker from the Department of Health and social services during one of the Zionist churches’ get-together meetings.
The event was marked by the church spreading love to disabled kids.

“Children are a gift from God and they never asked for their disability. Let us love, support and care for them,” Nyathikazi said. She lectured congregants on government’s aid for children living with disabilities.

This includes disability grants, granting aid to help care givers, as well as skills development and workshops for protective workshops. Nyathikazi spoke to attendees about stimulation centres, special schools and residential areas which are available to these kids.
Liberty Life donated shawls, hats, scarves and toys to the disabled children who attended while the church women and girls were each presented with sanitary towels.
