Event empowers women to grow
WOV focuses on women's development and is dedicated to improving the well-being of all women to develop their potential.
KANYAMAZANE – Members of Women of Valour from the Elshaddai Tabernacle International will host their annual women’s gathering in celebration of Women’s Month this weekend.
Women of Valour (WOV) is a non-profit organisation established in 2004 by its managing director, Hildah Mdaka.
“This is an annual event aimed at empowering and encouraging women in their quest for growth in all holistic human aspects which includes spiritual, social and economic development,” she says. WOV focuses on women’s development and is dedicated to improving the well-being of all women to develop their potential.
The group also aims to mobilise women to engage effectively in community development through regeneration activities and poverty alleviation projects within communities.
“We are also concerned about the spiritual, physical and emotional well-being of women and children, as well as skills and entrepreneurial development,” she adds.
The event will be held at Ndalo Lodge in Badplaas from August 12 to 14 under the theme “A place of enlargement”.
Registration costs, including accommodation at Ndalo Lodge and Aventura plus meals, varies from R1 100 to R1 400 per delegate.
