The country woke to the sad news of legendary actor, Joe Mafela's death on Sunday after he died in a car accident.
Social media users posted their tributes to veteran actor Joe Mafela popular known as Sdumo following his death.
He was involved in a accident on the M1 North between the Oxford and Houghton Road off-ramps in Johannesburg.
A family member, Anthony Mafela also confirmed the news on Twitter this morning.
“Sad news.. My uncle Joe Mafela passed on last night,” Anthony said.
