All are invited to join Joyous Celebration in asking God’s hand to heal our land

The need for prayer this time around is necessitated by the state of the country, from leadership level down to individual circumstances of South Africans.

Members of Joyous celebration have embarked on national tour, spearheaded by MTN to call for the nation to come together and pray to God to heal the country.

This week the team visited various media houses both print and broadcast around Mbombela, Bushbuckridge. Lydenburg and Middleburg promoting one Joyous 21st launch and invite to audience to the choir’s call for God to heal our land.

“Our tour is titled “Heal Our Land,” which is also the theme of theme of the performance to be held in Middelburg on June 30 and July 1 at the Middelburg Banquet Hall,” explains Nwabisa Meth.

“We want to engage with our fans in the spirit of praise and ask for God’s upper hand in the current state of our country.

We ask God to heal our land economically and politically.
Women and children are being abused and killed hence we invite the nation to come together and pray for all these issues with us,” says Nwabisa.

She promises fans to be revived and restored by the Joyous 21 album which includes the hit songs Heal our land and Uyalalelwa, just to mention a few from the album’s 34 praise and worship songs.

“This year’s theme “Heal our Land”, could not have come at a more appropriate a time in the state of our Land.

Leadership challenges resulting in uprisings in communities are just but a part of a larger scheme of societal challenges we face.

Crimes of different sorts, coupled with disintegration of family structures attributable to several reasons have become a norm.

As Joyous Celebration , we believe that this is time for divine intervention. We have invited local pastors to join us in this journey of planting seeds of healing in every province we visit,” adds Jabu Hlongwane.

The choir also extends words of appreciation to the Steve Tswete Local Municipality for sponsoring the venue.

Tickets are available at Computicket and Shoprite / Checkers stores from R200 per ticket.

The album was recorded with Bishop TD Jakes’ Potters House choir in Dallas.
