Dam water levels increase in the Lowveld
Severe thunderstorms are expected in the North-western KwaZulu-Natal, the extreme north-eastern Free State, highveld of Mpumalanga, Western Bushveld of Limpopo, and the extreme Eastern parts of North West today.
Due to rain in the past week, water levels in the lowveld have increased in dams.
Water levels increased in these dams:
- Loskop Dam- from 86 per cent to 92,60 per cent
- Blyderivierspoort Dam – 63 per cent to 65 per cent
- Nooitgedacht Dam- 82,30 to 87,70 per cent
- Vygeboom Dam- 89 per cent to 99,10 per cent
- Witklip Dam- 86,50 per cent to 88 per cent
- Kwena Dam – 53,9 per cent to 56,6 per cent
- Da Gama Dam- 74,5 per cent to 76,1 per cent
- Inyaka Dam- 77,4 per cent to 77,80 per cent
