Mpumalanga Cultural Xperience 2019 is coming

Empower. Entertain. Enthrall. Xperience. This is what the Fourth Annual Mpumalanga Cultural Xperience aims to deliver to the people of the province later in the year. #Xmarksthefun.

Starting on November 22 at Emnotweni Arena, the Comedy Xperience features some of the top comedians in the country.

The Music Creatives Workshop follows the comedy show. The three-day workshop is held at Mbombela Stadium from November 27 to 29. The workshop provides a platform where established artists mentor up-and-coming novices.

Last year, Phumla Music and Mlingani Soulchild were identified and have since established themselves in the industry. Phumla currently has two of the hottest songs on the pop scene, “Inhlitiyo” and “Sondzela”, which are both doing well.

Over the past three years, the Mpumalanga Cultural Xperience has served as a starter to the summer party with events for the whole family, and will be no different this year. One of the most popular events of the Cultural Xperience is the Street Carnival.

Cultural Group Performance

This year, it takes place on November 29 and will paint the city with colour. The carnival brings together the people of the city to celebrate everything that the capital city has to offer and features a host of performers and cultural groups.

The Traditional Music Xperience, which celebrates the rich cultural heritage of the province in song and dance, takes place on November 30 in Nkomazi.

The Music Xperience at Mbombela Stadium on November 30 gives partygoers an opportunity to party the night away to the sounds of the biggest and hottest music acts in the country. This year’s Kasi Xperience is held at Ebukhosini Resort in Nkomazi on November 29.

The Sunday Soul Xperience is all about enjoying the best that soul music has to offer at Mbombela  Botanical Garden.

The Mpumalanga Cultural Xperience concludes with the hosting of the Mpumalanga Gospel Awards on December 8.
