Three killed in accident on the N2

Three people lost their lives following a head on collision involving two sedans, a VW Polo and an Opel sedan between Ermelo and Mkhondo.

This happened around early this evening while the VW sedan was travelling from Ermelo towards Mkhondo and the other in the opposite direction. 

Among the deceased is the driver of one of the vehicles and two passengers including a woman. 

The other driver who is seriously injured was stabilized on the scene before he was rushed to Ermelo Hospital for further medical attention.

The cause of the collision will be investigated by the police.
