David Mabuza honoured with leadership award
The award is to recognise him for his mediation role in the South Sudan peace process.
The African National Congress congratulated Deputy President David Mabuza as recipient of the African Leadership Impact Award.
The 8th African Leadership Magazine Persons of the Year Awards took place in Sandton on Saturday.
The award is to recognise him for his mediation role in the South Sudan peace process. In his address he mentioned that although sustaining peace is hard work, it takes village and a nation to build peace.

The ANC issued a statement congratulating the deputy president. “The ANC is humbled by the ongoing contribution to the mediation process led by Deputy President Mabuza as President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Special Envoy to the Republic of South Sudan,” reads the statement.
