Health practitioners to interact with public online

The online platform is meant to educate the people about health related matters with different health practitioners on the department’s Facebook page weekly through live videos.

MBOMBELA- The public can now interact with health practitioners on social media.

This is after the Provincial Department of Health launched an Online Public Health Education platform today.

The MEC, Sasekani Manzini was joined by Dr Patrick Maduna, the first practitioner to participate on the platform.

Manzini said she hopes the initiative will be beneficial to all and that people’s questions on different health topics will be responded to.

“With the regulations of the lockdown, we are unable to organize community meetings to discuss matters, but with this platform and other mediums of communication, we are certain that people will get the correct information including updates on the Covid-19,” she said.
