Lowveld Walkers conquer God’s Window

Joseph Mashaba, the founder of Lowveld Walkers, said it was an interesting event and they enjoyed the magnificent views while doing what they love.

Lowveld Walkers conquered God’s Window on Saturday. Members celebrated an early Mother’s Day by visiting this famous natural landmark along the Panorama Route.

Joseph Mashaba, the founder of Lowveld Walkers, said it was an interesting event and they enjoyed the magnificent views while doing what they love.

“It was one of our more well-attended walks. We had people coming from various areas. We used a bus to travel here and the route was a great experience,” he said.

The organisation introduced competitive events on March 22. Since then the participants get to compete once in a while and get to walk away with great prizes.

Busisiwe Mabuza outshone the rest. She received a trophy, R500 and a gift hamper. Reneiloe Mogane took second place and received a massage voucher from Pure Bliss.

In the third was Ncobile Lubisi who also walked away with a massage voucher. Irene Gininda, Jabu Mpangane, Thandiwe Phiri and Brenda Maluleke were the lucky winners of Mother’s Day gift hampers. Mashaba said the event would not have been possible without the sponsors.
