Ligwalagwala FM radio DJ’s Facebook account hacked
The Ligwalagwala FM presenter Nobunhle Ndlovu, aka Drama Queen, is the latest local celebrity to have her Facebook account hacked.
Ndlovu’s account was hacked over the weekend by a new user who changed her login details, blocking her access.
She is the second celebrity in Mpumalanga to have had her account compromised, after the popular Mhlonishwa’s account was hacked just a week ago. It was not the first time Mhlonishwa’s account was invaded. It had been hacked by a young learner who was traced to the Nkomazi subregion.
“Yes, my account was hacked on Saturday, and we are busy trying to fix it,” confirmed Ndlovu when asked to comment. Ndlovu, an afternoon drive show host at the SABC’s SiSwati broadcasting radio station, said she was not yet aware of precisely what damage had been caused by the hackers.

“I am not too sure at the moment as to how much damage has been caused by this fraudulent act. I know that their motives are never innocent.” During her spare time, especially weekends, Ndlovu operates her own business playing at different entertainment establishments and weddings as a DJ.
“I want to apologise to all my Facebook friends and business associates who may have been asked for money and other favours by the hackers. I just want to set the record straight and confirm that I was hacked.”

Mxolisi Nzimande, a social media guru, said hackers hack other people’s social media accounts for one reason: to fraudulently make money.
“To guard and protect yourselves from hackers, it is advisable to log on and off when using your platforms. It is also wise to change passwords every three months, and never share these. Also, of great importance is to avoid clicking on links that you don’t understand or recognise,” he advised.
