Seasoned coach joins Liver Brothers FC

The Safa Promotional League campaigners, Liver Brothers FC, have acquired the services of the seasoned coach Magic Nyalungu.

The football fraternity remembers Nyalungu as a mentor who guided his former team, Eleven Experience, to glory when they were crowned Safa Promotional League champions without losing a single game the entire season.

Speaking to Lowvelder Express, this tried and tested mentor said his mandate with his new team is to help them qualify for the play-offs and eventually gain promotion to the SAB League by the end of this season.

“I intend achieving this without losing a match, like I did with my previous team,” said the confident Nyalungu. This team, based in Kildare in the Bushbuckridge Local Municipality, unveiled Nyalungu as head coach last week and have already registered a 5-0 victory against Golden Stars in their first official league opener.

“I believe that our mandate is achievable. I would like to believe that I have the right players to do the job. It may be early now, but I am sure they will soon adapt to my methods and will be able to play the kind of football I want them to play,” continued Nyalungu.

“I have confidence in my boys.” He said with the support of the entire community behind them, they will be able to reach their goal. “We need support from the community. This is their team. They need to take ownership. What I can promise the community in return is that we will never fail them.” The team’s managing director, Amu Gazide, said they are building a team that will one day represent the entire Bushbuckridge region and the province in the elite league DStv Premiership. “Well, Rome was not built in a day. We will build this team one brick at a time until we reach the premiership. I would like to appeal to the entire community to support us as we start this journey,” pleaded Gazide.
