The ANC said in a statement released shortly after the by-elections there were already a number of projects on the ground and in the pipeline that Nkomazi’s executive mayor, Cllr Phindile Magagula, and the local caucus were implementing to change the service delivery outlook of the municipality for the betterment of the lives of the people.

With another by-election scheduled for November 23 in Ward 4, the ANC has made a clarion call on its membership to go back to the drawing board and prepare. “The support we have received in the past by-election, even though we did not win, is not taken lightly, but is very much appreciated and will be needed as we continue to provide basic service to our people,” said the statement.
