Lydenburg Hospital cleaner accused of attempting to sell placentas fails to pay R10K bail
Nomvula Rose Mnisi will remain in police custody until her next court appearance.
The Lydenburg woman charged with the alleged selling of human tissue will remain behind bars.
Nomvula Rose Mnisi (39) was arrested by police while allegedly attempting to sell human placentas on September 17.

According to Sergeant Cave Dilebo, the spokesperson for the Lydenburg SAPS, Mnisi appeared in the Lydenburg Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, September 25 for her formal bail application.
She was granted R10 000 bail but failed to pay the amount and will remain in police custody.
After her arrest the Mpumalanga Department of Health confirmed that Mnisi has been suspended.

She is yet to receive the letter of suspension while behind bars. Mnisi was a cleaner at the hospital.
Her next court appearance will be on October 3.
