Multitalented KaBokweni musician set to release his music in 2025

Nkosana Mwale is working on his debut album while also uplifting unknown artists through his new music platform, the Unstoppable God.

A multitalented singer-songwriter, Nkosana Mwale, says his passion for music is unstoppable.
He has graced stages performing under various genres, but gospel music is his number one.

This musician, who has been singing professionally since 2018, said he is ready to release his own music in 2025. “I am working on an album, but my first-ever single will be available in March 2025,” he said excitedly.

Mwale started singing from a young age and played the piano in church. “My love of music grew and I just wanted to use every opportunity to put myself out there. I sang in church and at local events,” he said.

Starting out in 2018, he hosted a show in Ngodini that showcased himself alongside other Nsikazian musicians. “That show was a made a success by those people who believed in me and wanted to see my vision grow, which is to uplift artists. I did not expect do many locals at the show. After the Covid-19 lockdown, I hosted my second show and I saw greater success of this kind of movement. This is when I also created the concept of the Unstoppable God, and it being an outdoor gospel music event.”

Through this concept, he aims to create platforms that will uplift unknown artists. It is a performing platform made available to up-and-coming gospel musicians through concerts. He recently hosted an instalment of the Unstoppable God outside the HA Classic Lounge. It saw a number of artists from the City of Mbombela and surrounds showcasing their talents on the open stage.

“The set-up was quite social and easy-going to allow people to worship and praise God in a relaxed setting. Families, friends and young people came through with their chairs and snacks to enjoy the show, which featured about 15 artists, including the likes of Prudie Zwane, Sidwell Mathebula, Lerato Mothapo and Papa Ndu Manana.”

Mwale said he is hoping these concerts gain momentum so that more artists can make use of this platform for exposure. He said he wants to implement more of these concerts, at least three times a year around the country.

“Some of the plans to grow this platform include making it international. The Unstoppable God will become a recording platform as well where we as artists come together to record songs and release an album. It will include six vocalists, a five-piece band and a number of lead singers. This will greatly assist most people in the music industry with job creation. Plans are already under way to achieve this goal.”
