Mbombela Farmer’s Market kicks off 2025 with a bang

This event brought people together to network, have fun and enjoy local products.

Residents came out in their numbers to support the first Mbombela Farmer’s Market of 2025 at the Lowveld National Botanical Garden on March 1.

This event had a wonderful programme with a wide range of activities that catered for the entire family.
There was great music, food, drinks and a wide variety of items for sale.

The organiser, Mmabakwena Nxumalo, said she didn’t expect the turnout to be as big as it was, because it was the first event.

“I had already thought of a number of the people who might come, but that number I had in mind is a lot smaller than what we received. We would not be where we are if it was not for the support we get from the public; we are who we are because of them,” said Nxumalo.
