TS Matsulu determined to go top of Safa Ehlanzeni U20 League log

Sinani United FC enjoyed victory in the Safa U20 league, while Game United FC remain at the bottom of the log.

TS Matsulu Future Academy FC and Sinani United FC played a 1-1 draw in a thrilling encounter in the Safa U20 Ehlanzeni, Mbombela Stream week 17, at the Kaapmuiden Sports Ground on Saturday, May 10.

TS Matsulu Future Academy have a game in hand and remain in the second place on the log with 32 points after 14 games, while Sinani United FC remain unbeaten in the league with 33 points after 15 games and top of the log.

TS Galaxy Academy and Barberton Academy’s game was cancelled on Saturday due to unforeseen circumstances. Barberton Academy are in 11th position after 13 games with 10 points. The Young Rockets played Fortune Academy at the Valencia Sports Complex on Sunday, May 12. The match ended goalless.

TS Galaxy Academy are sixth on the log with 22 points after 13 games. Fortune Academy are in fifth place with 23 points after 14 games. Mpumalanga (MP) School of Excellence FC remain in fourth position with 26 points after 14 games. The MP School of Excellence began the season well, but recently lost form.

In the meantime, Black Medal FC, Idlabantu FC and Mthimba Football Academy are the three teams that have picked up their form in the league, with Black Medal in tenth position after 12 games, Idlabantu in third after 14 games and Mthimba Football Academy seventh after 14 games.

Game United are yet to register their first victory. They have played 14 games and lost all of them, conceding 53 goals. The league is expected to end in June before the Engen Cup starts.
