Ehlanzeni TVET College hosted the event as it forms part of the council. The TVETCGC’s secretary general, Sanele Zondi, said the aim of the roadshow was to showcase the work the council has undertaken.

“The majority of the council members that are serving in Mpumalanga colleges are new in the sector. They need to get to know the various stakeholders and the structure. The TVETCGC is their employer, so it is important that they are also appraised of council matters.

“We visited all nine provinces, Mpumalanga being the last. The reason for the roadshow is to bring our partners and the colleges together to engage and interact, so that the principals know what funding opportunities are available and what the criteria are to get this funding,” said Zondi.
