Masoyi youngster gives new hope to the less fortunate
The Nosipho N Foundation seeks to help underprivileged community members with basic necessities.
Spreading Love to the Less Fortunate is a charity drive that assists underprivileged individuals in local communities with clothes, blankets food and school shoes.
The initiative was started by Nosipho Martin (22), who is a model and a full-time student, operating under her non-profit organisation, Nosipho N Foundation. She said she started this foundation when she was 15.
“I was inspired by the love my grandmother shared with everyone in the community, especially those in need of food. As a domestic worker, she shared the little she had with other families. She also taught me to not mistreat those in need but to help them. That is what motivated me to establish the organisation,” she said.
According to Martin, she has donated to six families and five children since last year. She said she is sourcing sponsorships to assist in her projects so that she can reach more communities and individuals.

She also hosts charity events to raise awareness about the social ills that affect children, such as peer pressure.
Martin said she wants to be a good example for her peers and to inspire younger children to become good citizens and successful future leaders.
