Jobseekers attend informative career fair in Mbombela
Hosted by Nelson Global Accounting and Bookkeeping, this event had various speakers who shared tips with the attendees.
Jobseekers were equipped with much-needed tools and information during the Career and Job Fair hosted by Nelson Global Accounting and Bookkeeping at the Mercure Hotel on Saturday, June 21.

During the event, jobseekers received expert tips on crafting a winning CV and participated in interview preparation with live simulations. They had a chance to network with employers and industry professionals.
Nelson Tiwane, a director at Nelson Global Accounting and Bookkeeping, reminded the jobseekers that it is important to prepare for the interview in advance. He said the interviewers already have their qualifications and information on experience.

“They will ask you about your strengths and weaknesses. They will ask you tell them about who you are. When answering about weakness, be mindful of how you answer it. You cannot tell them that you do not have a weakness.”

Tiwane expressed his appreciation for everyone who attended the event.
“Some of the stakeholders and professionals who were there include Beauty On Wheels, Kishugu Business School, Quanis Accounting and Tax Solutions, LBS Accounting, Banabaka Spa and Venue, FNB, Adonai Accountants, Scientia Agri Institute, Seka Capital and the Department of Education.”

Nelson Global Accounting and Bookkeeping is a skills development facilitator, working with the Finance and Accounting Services Sector Education and Training Authority. The company trains candidates in accounting, administration, marketing and various other sectors.
