Department says Boschfontein school is ahead of schedule

The construction of Langa Secondary School include 12 classes, administration block and other educational infrastructure.

The construction of Langa Secondary School is progressing smoothly and is currently ahead of schedule. This is according to the Mpumalanga MEC for public works, roads and transport, Thulasizwe Thomo, who visited the site on July 3, and expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far.

The new school will bring much-needed educational infrastructure to the area and will include state-of-the-art facilities, including 12 classrooms, an administration block, library, computer centre, science lab, kitchen and sports amenities. The project also involves rehabilitating the existing soccer field and installing ramps and rails to ensure accessibility for all learners.

Thomo highlighted the significance of the development, stating that it represents a major investment in education for the Boschfontein community.
