Matsulu celebrates spring with annual colour run

The annual event is a community movement that aims to bring laughter and fun to children in the community

To celebrate the arrival of spring, the community enjoyed a bright, fun-filled day at the eighth annual colour run on Saturday, September 6.

Unlike other communities where people splash one another with water, Matsulu families brought their children out for a day of colour, fun and togetherness.

Co-founder of the Matsulu Colour Run, Justice Mdluli, said he wanted to create something for the whole community to enjoy.

“The day is aimed at families who just want to go out and have a good time,” he explained.
“We love seeing people happy, especially the children. This is a fun event that brings the community together – young and old,” said Mdluli.
