Chills and thrills as Matsulu celebrates Halloween in style

A group of Matsulu ladies went all out for Halloween this year.

A group of women celebrated Halloween in style with spooky decor and creative costumes.
They attended an intimate event at ePlazini Lifestyle on Friday, October 31, featuring colourful, blood-dripping balloons and eerie paintings on the walls.

The organiser, Rose Shongwe, said this was her most successful event to date. She added that it challenged her creativity by encouraging community involvement, and that the response was overwhelmingly positive.

“The community’s enthusiasm and appreciation for my unique themes encouraged me to try something new and exciting. Halloween offered the perfect opportunity to explore this global holiday,” she said.

Shongwe added that the date is already set for next year’s spooktacular Halloween party. Most of the attendees did their own make-up, while others opted for masks.
