The University of Mpumalanga (UMP) hosted the third annual Dr Enos Mabuza Memorial Lecture on Monday, April 20, convening local communities, leaders and academics to reflect on the enduring legacy of one of Mpumalanga’s most farsighted educationists.

The UMP vice chancellor, Prof Thenjiwe Meyiwa, said the lecture served as a call to action for the transformative role of education.

Dr Patrick Hawkins Maduna delivered the keynote address, deliberating on Mabuza’s lasting impact on leadership and development, and highlighting the importance of preserving his iconic legacy through ethical leadership.
