SASSA announces August grant payment schedule

August social grant payouts will begin on August 4 with older persons grants, followed by disability grants on August 5.

Children’s grants will be paid on August 6, while exceptions and special cases will be processed on August 7.

Beneficiaries are encouraged not to rush to collection points on the first day of payment. The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has assured recipients that funds will remain safely available in their accounts until they choose to withdraw them.
