Norway by bike
Rika de Bruyn has been dreaming about taking a motorcycle tour of Norway since watching a bewitching television programme on the country a few years ago. Following the success in June of the second Lowveld Dual Bike Adventure which she organises, she had saved suffient funds to take her émigré friend Anton Prins up on his invitation to visit. She talks Mireille de Villiers through her photo album of the trip.
The Norway Round
Norway has been at the top of my bucket list for some time. Anton, who is formerly from Maputo, had emigrated to Finland and when he contacted me about joining him on a motorcycle trip from Finland via Sweden to Norway and back – I could not resist. I packed my Euros, a GoPro camera, my GPS and bike
kit and off I went on the trip of a lifetime.
