Mahalia to stun Lowvelders

According to her manager, Doctor Makhubela, Mahalia's album is doing very well in stores and the reception is amazing across the borders, which prompted the world tour.

Lowvelders are in for yet another treat by gospel sensation, Mahalia Buchanan, who will be gracing the city with her presence on May 7 during one of the legs in her Africa tour.
Mahalia rocked Mbombela in May last year during her pre-live recording show which left her fans yearning for more. According to her manager, Doctor Makhubela, Mahalia’s album is doing very well in stores and the reception is amazing across the borders, which prompted the world tour.
“Mahalia released her debut album, Redeemed to Worship, on September 25 last year, and the DVD on December 11 the same year. This album was launched on March 5 this year and she will embark on her Africa tour which will start in Mpumalanga on May 7 at the Emnotweni Arena,” said Makhubela, owner of Dlophe Records.
According to Makhubela, Mpumalanga has now become Mahalia’s second home.
“Mpumalanga was chosen as the preferred province for the first leg of her tour since this is the province that hosted her two weeks before her DVD recording in 2015, thus making the people of Mpumalanga to be the first to hear her music before it was recorded and released to the whole world.”
After she has wowed her local fans she will be touring some African countries as well.
“The Mbombela performance will be followed by Cape Town on May 14, Potchefstroom on May 21, Swaziland on July 30, Lesotho on August 20, Botswana on August 27, Zimbabwe on September 2-3 and Ghana on September 24.

In Mpumalanga she will have Xolani Mdlalose, Phindile Phoky, Indlovukazi, Giami and Paul Mervas as her guest artists. Tickets are already available at Computicket for R150. Make sure you grab yours to be part of this history in the making,” concluded Makhubela.
Mahalia will also announce the institution that she will be adopting for her community work in Mpumalanga.
