Idol gears fans up for a masquerade

In a career first, Afro-pop/soul and R&B artist Karabo Mogane will stage his one-man show at the prestigious Lyric Theatre Gold Reef City in Johannesburg on February 28.

Music lovers and fans will gather at the venue for one night only under the theme “Masquerade”, for what promises to be an event filled with mystique, fun and of course, love.

Mogane will perform his stunning repertoire mingled with love jams keeping to the spirit of February – the month of love.

Songs like “Khakhathi”, “Ngifuna Lo”, “Sondela” featuring Robbie Malinga and “Lerato”, will keep revellers and lovers on their feet.

With his unique voice and charisma, Mogane walked away with the Idols SA crown two seasons ago and has been doing great things, releasing two albums, the latest being Matters of the Heart produced by the late great Malinga.

Mogane said, “This is one of the biggest stages of my career. It is also a dream come true for me. It’s surreal that I will be at the Lyric Theatre and I urge all my supporters to buy tickets and not miss out on a great night of music. I will put up the most amazing show on that night. My team and I are hard at work attending to every detail for a memorable show. I’m beyond excited.”

Tickets are available at Computicket.

Doors open at 19:00.
