THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE

Have a great weekend and remember this: Once they stop talking to you, they start talking about you. May the force be with you!

We couldn’t wait for Friday’s Sopa, and considering that many of you had time to sort out your outfits and all, we’re expecting fireworks!
Let’s not hear stories of designers not being paid this year please. Surely you earn enough to settle for your outfits and fake hair.

Again, do get the right colour code when it comes to make-up. We came across a few Muddy Princesses last year, not forgetting the eyelashes and not-so-fleek eyebrows.

Let’s not talk about that councillor from Barberton, Anthea Mthunywa, who came dressed in jeans and heels that escaped from her foot while walking on the red carpet. You can still redeem yourself this year sisi. Surely a few surprises await us tomorrow, but we’re looking forward to seeing you all looking dapper and fresh.

So, Rising Sun TV was launched last Friday. Pity we did not attend but seeing from the pictures, we did not miss much. Does this mean MiTV now has competition? Speaking of that, where are those guys hiding? We heard through the grapevine that Kliff Oday has gone back into music. Is there trouble or something we should know about? Hope whatever it is gets sorted out.
Is there going to be any gala dinners or after parties after the Sopa? If so, it’s sad because none can be hosted at Dream South Business Lounge this time around.

What happened there? Did someone’s dream go south? Ey, that’s another story for another day.
