Through the grapevine:

Crucify us for saying it, but it is the truth.

Spring has sprung and most people are in festive mode already. There’ll be events galore, but some “event organisers” should not try their luck in the party scene this time around, just like the organisers of the Spring Sunday who decided to advertise the event five days before the date. What’s worse is that the line-up was false. Bafwethu, events and marketing are just not for everyone. Hence a nine-to-five job is ideal for one to have, because there’s no time to be dreaming of non-existent projects or ways of making quick bucks.
Crucify us for saying it, but it is the truth. This season, can revellers be taken seriously and be given value for their money, starting with line-ups, especially at those Sunday soul sessions? Can someone host the likes of Msizi Shembe, Mo G nabo Sweetmike more? Even artists like Nick Soul, Zamo, Karabo Mogane and Afrotraction, who are from the province too, for a change? It would really be a breath of fresh air, shem.
Anyway, it’s almost time and we just want to find out, Zi- right I- boycotters ze Mpumalanga Comes Alive? What are your alternative plans for that weekend? A house party? We don’t think so! Have a great weekend and remember that a goal without a plan is just a wish.
May the force be with you!
