Benni McCarthy’s contract terminated by Cape Town City
Following a series of poor performances in the last 18 games winning only two games, McCarthy’s contract was terminated.

Cape Town City has released coach Benni McCarthy from his contract with immediate effect following a series of poor performances in the last 18 games winning only two games.
They also have won only one of their 11 matches in all competitions which includes first round exits in the MTN 8 and Telkom Knockout‚ the continuation of some poor results from the end of last season.
Here’s what Benni had to say:
