In his latest segment of #MinisterZweliSpeaks, Minister of Health, Zweli Mkhize warned Covid-19 hotspots such as Cape Town, Johannesburg and eThekwini may require tighter restrictions.
He stated the Department will be monitoring and evaluating the progress in various parts of the country, stating that in some instances they would need to consider further lockdown and heightened interventions of various forms.
Zweli added there has been good progress up to now, and urged the community to work together in order to one day look back and say, “South Africa, we did it”.
