Reunited with parents, Moti brothers are ‘in good spirits’

The kidnappers dropped the four brothers off in the vicinity of Vuwani, Limpopo last night.

A knock on a door and a subsequent call to the police yesterday, set in motion the events that would lead to the four Moti brothers being reunited with their family late last night, November 10.

Brig Vish Naidoo has confirmed that the police in Vuwani yesterday received a phone call from a local resident saying the children arrived at their house. According to the caller, the children said they had earlier been dropped off at a nearby road.

He confirmed that the four Moti brothers, Zidan, Zayyad, Alaan, and Zia have been reunited with their family late last night.

A doctor confirmed that the brothers were in good health, the statement reads: “The children also appeared to be in high spirits during the reunion with their parents”.

The Moti brothers have not yet been interviewed, but according to the police investigators will arrange for the SAPS psychologists in this regard.

The brothers were being driven to school on Wednesday, October 20 when they were kidnapped at gunpoint.

The investigation into the kidnapping continues, and the police appeal to anyone who can assist with information that will help bring the kidnappers to book, to make contact.
