Having played two games more than second place SuperSport United, a 23-point lead in the DStv premiership for Mamelodi Sundowns comes after a one goal victory away to Orlando Pirates.

Cassius Mailula scored the only goal in the game after a sloppy forward pass that led to a Sundowns attack. SuperSport United kept a clean sheet against Cape Town City in a 2-0 victory that earned SuperSport three points.
