Morné van den Berg starts for Springboks in Baltimore series decider against All Blacks

Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus has made two changes to the starting line-up for the final test against New Zealand in the United States.

Morné van den Berg will start at scrumhalf in one of two changes to the Springbok starting line-up for the Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry series decider against New Zealand in Baltimore on Saturday.

Van den Berg replaces Cobus Reinach, who drops to the replacements bench, while Damian Willemse returns at fullback in place of the injured Cheslin Kolbe.

Kolbe suffered a broken jaw early in the South African team’s 29-24 win at FNB Stadium and was one of six players who remained behind when the squad travelled to the United States.

A victory for the Springboks at M&T Bank Stadium would secure a 3-1 series win, while the All Blacks are aiming to draw the series.

The match on Saturday kicks off at 23:10 South African time.
