Eskom announces load-shedding update
Some power cut reprieve for citizens ahead of Human Rights Day.

Eskom says rolling blackouts was suspended at 11:00.
The power utility explains the reprieve is due to a lower than expected demand for electricity.
Load-shedding will again be reinstated at 16:00 tomorrow when stage 2 power cuts will be implemented.
Over the last few days South Africans have seen a decrease in load-shedding. The power utility on Friday announced that they will lower the implemented stages and suspend rolling blackouts where possible.
This resulted in stage 1 load-shedding being implemented at 05:00 on Saturday, and ultimately it was suspended at 05:00 yesterday. Eskom then again implemented stage 1 power cuts at 05:00.
Due to the significantly lower than anticipated demand for electricity today, loadshedding will be suspended at 11:00 today until 16:00 on Tuesday 21 March, when Stage 2 loadshedding will be implemented.
