Here’s Eskom’s load-shedding plan until Monday
Stages 2, 3 and 4 will be implemented at varied times, the power utility says.

UPDATE at 14:20:
Stage 4 Loadshedding was implemented at 13:11 today due to a higher than anticipated demand experienced. This will continue until 05:00 on Saturday morning wherein the previously communicated schedule will resume.

Eskom has announced its planned load-shedding schedule for the weekend as well as Monday – and it includes stage 4.
The power utility says breakdowns have increased and 15 388MW of generating capacity is unavailable as a result. A further 7 169MW is unavailable due to planned maintenance.

Friday
Stage 3: Until 16:00
Stage 4: 16:00-00:00
Saturday
Stage 4: 00:00-05:00
Stage 3: 05:00-16:00
Stage 4: 16:00-00:00
Sunday
Stage 4: 00:00-05:00
Stage 2: 05:00-16:00
Stage 3: 16:00-00:00
Monday
Stage 3: 00:00-16:00
