Stage 4 load-shedding implemented until further notice
Further generating capacity loss has been cited as the reason for maintaining the stage.

Stage 4 load-shedding will continue to be implemented until there are any significant changes to the system, Eskom says.
The power utility notes that varied stages of rolling blackouts, as announced earlier today, will not be a possibility due to further generating capacity loss.
Eskom this afternoon said breakdowns amounted in excess of 15 000MW generating capacity loss, while more than 7 000MW was unavailable due to planned maintenance.
